Hola! How is the first 2 weeks of 2011 treating you? Hope you're enjoying the beginning of the year although we believe many hardships will come along the way as life moves on. (I'm trying very hard to be optimistic nowadays *frowning over the amount of workload*)

It's funny how me and my long time pal Meng Zhen catches up today over lunch and talked about how ironic it is to have less days of classes for our semester yet we felt we've never been so busy before in our entire study life. He only have 2 days of class per week and I have 3, yet we're complaining how much stress and stupid thesis is, how lazy we are to get our CV done, how assignments are whipping our asses even before we start doing it.
On the contrary, we refuse to accept the fact that we need to put on a straight face and make our own living at this age.

Repeat semester till you're 35, anyone?

Chinese New Year is around the corner and I do not feel its atmospheric existence other than the usual tongtongtongchiang songs that annoys the gut out of me. Each year I felt Christmas has triumphed Chinese New Year with it's flashy decor and merry carols. I have not done my shopping for this festive occasion, I'm thinking of just getting one short Chinese traditional cheong sam and that's about it. Because com'on let's admit it, most of the CNY clothes will end up to be any other clothes that you wear anywhere (some turned into my sleeping clothes), so I will rather spend it some other time. Meanwhile, let's look for my cheong sam over the week, if I can't find any, I'll just stay home for the whole week in my short pants and t-shirt. Woohoo!
I received a pleasant surprise from Yong Jay the other day when he returned from Australia. Okay I've forgotten the date i'm-so-sorry!!! I had in mind that he is coming back later but oh well, that boy never gets angry at me whatsoever. *grin*

So much to catch up until the day where I'll come back for France and he leaves for Australia on the very same day. Sad.
Oh as I'm typing I'm contemplating if I should send Alvin's dad a birthday text zomg!! *laughs, breathe, breathe, laughs*
Anyway, I will be leaving to the birth place of Louis Vuitton-Christian Louboutin-Chanel in about a month's time. Contemplating what to wear on the first day, which luggage to bring, how many pairs of shoes should I carry along, which jacket to match with which underwear. ZOMG. Just. So. Many. Things.
Till then, I will keep you peeps updated when possible!
