I once commented on how nice Kettle Chips were June finally bought one packet of Kettle's Sea Salt and Vinegar the day Nana hold her BBQ party. She couldn't find Lay's so she ended up buying a packet of Kettle's.

**************************************************

So, the next day Princess June came telling me that Kettle is too serious.

Huh??

How can chips be serious? is that the right word to use?

It took her some time to find another more appropriate word to explain it to me. I still don't get it though. The day when we're having nasi lemak at this place June claimed have the BEST fried chicken, she finally break it down to me.

June:"Kettle is serious because you can see it's very original, you can still see the skin around it and very natural"

Joanne *nod*
Actually i don't understand.
Kettle = Serious

June is a very kettle person. I've never seen anyone this kettle before.

Well, although some part of me still thinks that Kettle is way better than other chips, but it's still yet to be known which chips is better. My passion for Kettle's is so strong i buy them every time i have the money to indulge myself in expensive chips. There's once Village Groceries put them on sales, RM7.99 (normal price RM9.89 -RM9.99), i bought 4. My favourite one is Sour Cream & Onion.

I've tried Lay's once, Ruffles once.. but somehow i don't see them coming any closer to Kettle's. June beg to differ. Alright, to make it fair, June and I agreed on having an experiment on chips. The typical experiment you did in your science lab.

We're going to check on the taste, texture, level of crispiness, sound it creates, etc. We're not going to compare the other physical elements like packaging or price, because it just don't matter. The price is about the same. Since we don't have the time to do it, we're going to do it in Penang. When everyone have the time to kill and witness this very meaningful event - testing chips.

To be continue....

Vote your chips now!

Chips bought under personal account, you will not claim it from me.

Look who turned 18? It's Shae!

Alright alright i know this is suppose to be a October post. My bad. Anyway, it's Shannon's Birthday! Our boy finally turn 18! It's the 1st of Oct. *an arrow just hit my chest* It's not THAT long ago.. just.. 2 months?

It's after our restaurant practical class, i remember June had a panic attack because the birthday boy is about to leave college because Reagan is taking him home. We just finished our oh-so-long speech by Mr.Patrick Daya. I swear i saw June went crazy for 10 seconds when she know that Shannon is about to go home. My job - distract Reagan. Buy time. June ran to her car to take the cake while i was there in the restaurant making blank conversation with Reagan.

Finally June came back. All of us gather in front of Annexe, took the cake out and lit them. Shannon sitting at the bar, so CLEVER of him to look out the glass. Saw Atika carrying the cake it. We hit the Happy Birthday song real loud for him.

I still owe him a present. June and I headed to Bangsar Village a week ago before his birthday to find something for him as a gift. The thing is.. I know he like the Ted Baker leather bag, but it's like 3 figure starting with a 5 and ended with a 9. You know, Shannon got exquisite taste. Sorry dude, wait till i got married to a about-to-die old filthy rich man then i'll buy you LV instead. So we thought getting him a cake first, then one day go out with him, buy him something else (which we haven't do till now).

We made him make a wish then blow the candle. We made him give a small speech. I'm pretty sure he wished to get the Top Student, AGAIN.

Happy Birthday Boy! Have a wonderful 18! Legal!!

Who ate the cake, paid up. Kidding.

You May Kiss The Bride

My cousin Chai Yin is finally getting married! Okay i made her sound very old, actually she's still in her mid 20s. Just the time to get married. Yay! Chinese New Year i will have another ang pow. It's amazing to see how couple get married and all, i mean.. MAN! you're gonna face that same person for the rest of your life. I still find it hard to get committed now even though i get kind of green-eyed to see women strut along the street with their utterly obedient husband, well... i'm not rushing, just telling. Well, the day before the wedding i headed to stay at my sister's place at Serdang.

I stayed online in her room until 4am... time flies when i'm playing games. I went to bed, knowing that 6am i have to be awake. Not to mention my sister is a very discipline person, she'll start yanking at me if i don't wake up. My sleeping ability is unreasonably good. I have 2 hours, maybe in the morning i can negotiate with her to let me sleep a little longer.... say 1 hour maybe?

I woke up dead the next morning, i only got 30minutes of what i wanted to get from that 1 hour. I dressed up and my sister and i headed down. Waiting for my other cousin to pick us up.. We waited for about 40 minutes standing at there.. i was so frustrated i told my sister that i'm gonna scold my cousin. Which i didn't after i got in the car. I'm still cool and calm.

I took a sneak peek of my cousin getting prep in the room. O M G!!!! Isn't that the very famous make-up artist for celebrity? i don't know his name but i definitely know that face. He is a make-up God. I saw his make-up kit, whao.. talking about designer labels here people. My cousin's face is very VERY expensive. ( I got an info that make-up from him will cost me about, RM700?) My cousin is so lucky. Poor thing the bride is looking very nervous today, she hardly squeezed a smile. I told her "It's too late to be regret." and she smiled. If my mom was there she'll probably slaughter me. Nah, she is just having a pre-marital-nervous-breakdown-oh-i'm-getting-married kinda thing, she's actually very happy.

We waited for the cars from the guys' side to come, man i think they are late. Me and my uncle actually came out with an idea of playing them. "Oh? who are you looking for?" "Bride? Who?" "I'm the only one living here, you're looking at the wrong place." Take that sucker! Anyway, us sisters have to play them kao kao before we let them in. Too bad couldn't think of anything disgusting at this very day, normally i'm very good at it.

Finally we came up with some exercise routine and delicious drinks for them. They seem to be enjoying. FINE.

My 3rd uncle, dressed up like a minister. We had a good laugh.

Work on it.

Some extra motivation.

He thinks soya beans and tomato tasted good.

Anyway ya.. the groom had to sing this song the bride wanted him to sing and he forgot what song is that. Damn... His brothers and cousin are very supportive. But i think even if he sing her Merry Had A Little Lamb she'll still let him in because they are so in love. When he finally hit the note and said I LOVE YOU across the wooden door real loud, my cousin came out and he gave her a smack on the lips. Wuhoo!! Married!!

Beautiful isn't?

2 happy mouse.

Bride arrived in the man's place.

We then went to the guys' family's place and ate tons of fruits and jellies. Day ended. Tomorrow we have a night dinner to attend.

The next day.....

The emcee announced the arrival of the groom and bride. They walked in happily hands-in-hands. Then another 5 minutes the waiters and waitresses bring in the food. Next thing you know everyone is digging their head in their food.

AwwWW...

Clockwise from left: Chai Yin cousin(bride), Sher Lynn, sister, Me, my uncle(since this very fateful day), Erwin.

I was sitting opposite my uncle while we're having dinner. I enjoyed watching him shewing on the fish skeleton. Hehehe!

Hot.

My aunt gave me a surprise dressed up in a long gold cheong sam, beautiful.

Cut the cake ceremony.

Natural picture is always nice.

The groom's younger brother.

Bride's younger sister also my cousin Siew Yin and my sister.

I'm not eating shark fin.

Mom, see your brother bully us.

Look at Erwin with his puny fingers!

Love this pictures, so... touching.

Happy Newly Wed!!!

Hari Raya, bit too late.

Apologies, yes i know i know.. the blog is like a abandoned child. Normally i will come back and update, but the thing is i am occupied with more important things like umm.. sleeping and reading. Talking to my mom... okay okay, i know all these are excuses. To be precise i haven't been updating for 3months. Well, i have a lot of new post coming now. No worries. I'm going to talk about our visit to Atika's and Nadya's place during Hari Raya last October.

It was a fine day as far as i remember.

June came over to fetch me then we headed to Su Fen's house. When Shae came in June and I made him look like a superstar, snap him.

Shae!! our model.

Then Nana joined us, without waiting any longer we went to the Mobil station nearby to fetch Reagan.

Malang Tidak Berbau. The sky starts to look a bit gloomy.. and the viper is not working properly, then suddenly cars start honing us, then after a couple rolled down the window only we realized that one of our car's tyre is punched (is that how you spell it? correct me if i'm wrong). We had to make a stop.

Precisely at Jalan Ipoh, where cars zooming back and forth. AHhhHH!!! so frustrated, and it's drizzling. None of us know how to change a car tyre, okay i know that is sad but it is the truth. Nana and Shae went around to see if there's any workshop nearby; Reagan started losing the nuts; June start taking picture; Su Fen cracking her head thinking what to do; I just stood there, STONE. Well, my job is security.... look out if there's anyone wants to rob us or anything. It's a jungle out there.

Still got mood to take photo.

Maybe it's an answer to our prayer, an Indian guy in motorbike came to help us. Thank you so much whatever-your-name-is, lets name you Muthu. Anyway Muthu professionally completed changing the tyre in no time, saved us. Love you Muthu.

Finally, we reached Atika's place. Clad in her light blue baju kurung, she greeted us with the loveliest smile. Her house is HUGE!!! she's living in a mansion.

I'm so hungry... all of us attacked the food. When i walked around the place i saw most of them are here already. Food food food, so many things to eat.

Stew lamb, love it.

My lontong specially scooped by Nadya

They are gossiping about someone, look at Atika's expression. She must have hate that person a lot.

Jay.Winter.Winter's GF.

Ryan gong gu. Faiz. XiWern.Michelle.Ryan

Wayne.Faiz.XiWern's half body.

Then Atika and Nadya took us for a tour around her house. The house is lovely. Huge.

So cool right? this is a dining table for 12 people. Like the board room for Donald Trump.

Stairs that lead us to more excitement.

This chandelier is so big, hanging right on top of the stairs. Beautiful.

They then led us to their bedrooms, and some of them started playing some board games. June and I strayed off to watch tv.

The gaming room. Atika and Nadya's brothers.

The view from Atika's and Nadya's room balcony.

Aww...look at this cute lil' boy. He must have miss his childhood.

Checking camera functions ok? it's not what you think.

Then Atika and Nadya's youngest baby sister came joining us. Her name is Maya. I'm jealous of her, cuz she have cleavage, she's only 2.

See, told ya. She just woke up, so cute.

This is the reason why i'm watching tv.

After that Reagan, Atika, Ryan, June and I played Shag.Marry.Kill. It was hilarious! After that they decided to go to the waterfall behind the mansion. It's a waterfall behind your house, not all wired up with pumps, it's natural. How lucky ey?

Faiz and Ryan stripped and jumped in. My oh My...

*Pictures below are explicit, above 18 only*

Make your own conversation.

Er.. i'm sure they had a blast.
The boys didn't know i'm taking pictures anyway, so it's all natural.

LOST Season 100

Fivesome

We headed back to Atika's house when i take a few more pictures before we leave.

Their very own audio system.

A smaller round dinner table.

The common room.

A bar with a huge built-in aquarium. FYI, due to some accident, the aquarium glass broke, the fishes gushed down together with the water and umm.. they fried some of the fish.

Their very own pool table.

Another living room.

Maya's playground.

Oii June! She did it purposely.

We went back after a long day. Isn't it the weather we first started the journey ey? Beautiful.

*Thank you Atika and Nadya, your family your maids and everything, a great host you guys are and yes the meal was wonderful!! thank you so much. We had a blast!*
