B'day

It's the very special day of the year, where just some of us have holidays on Friday, because it's the hatching day of the Princess. Muahahhaa!! Na lah, I just hatched from a normal kampung egg. Actually, my mom has an issue with me saying that i 'hatched'. Basically i think giving birth is so difficult so i would like to think i hatched, less painful. AHH... full 18years, what have i done in this 18 years? more than i can accomplished? less than what i've should, neither way, i'm happy with what i have so far. Of course, there's always room for improvements. Each and every year's my birthday will be celebrated, lucky me because my family emphasize a lot on occasions. This year i had one advance birthday from my lovely classmates! Then my family back in Kuantan.

It's a Friday, to be honest.. i was NOT thinking anything about my birthday, i'm just like normal all day. Until June went to toilet and never came back; Shannon disappeared somewhere and left me sitting alone at the annexe in the college asking people where are they. When i saw June walking towards me with Atika wrapping around her neck and jumpin' walkin' towards me like she's dancing towards some Mary Poppin's song.. That when the song came "Happy Birthday to You!~~~~" The whole group of people singing, i was very shocked and kept saying "Today's not my birthday!", well obviously they didn't stop singing. Then Shannon came, with a box.. 'It has got to be a hamster, i'm so sure" i was thinking.. but when i open the box, there's nothing. Everyone went loco.. where's the hamsters? READ: Hamsters That means there's 2 ran out of the bitten box, aww no.

It didn't end there. Although i can see the disappointment on their faces the hamsters gone, but i try to comfort them to say it's okay. At least i know they got me something and that's really sweet. We then decided to go to Pyramid to have lunch. When i'm there, another Missing In Action goes June and Shae.. and they came back with a beautifully-exquisitely-pretty-handsomely wrapped cage with 2 cutest creatures i've ever seen in my whole life. I was so happy. Actually last year i had 2 hamsters for my birthday from my bestie too, but they died in 3days, so i've warned them saying 'I've got history with hamsters'. Time to think the names yah?

Pastry Chaos

It's Thursday. Who doesn't love Thursday? i LOVE Thursday, simply because Thursday we'll have either 5hours of break; or pastry class with the charming Chef Karam that can turn flour to gold; it's the last day of the week; it's relaxing - so why not love Thursday?

Not this perticular Thursday though - 16th august 2007. As usual, all of us prep up in our chef uniform and off we go to the pastry kitchen, strange as it seems.. when June and I were approaching there there's still a lot of them standing by the corridor. I went to check, and yes.. Chef Patrick is inside with his students. Where's Chef Karam? everyone is asking, no idea. Anyway, some of us went in and some just went off. Chef Patrick started off something like this.

Chef Karam is on MC, those who is not in their full uniform you're

welcome to get out of the class.

All of us panicked, because i can say most of us are 'incomplete', some without scarf; some without apron; some without the safety shoes on.. bla bla bla.. So off we went to put on what we're suppose to. When i check around the numbers of us, only half of us left, obviously the rest are not interested in his class. We had his class once, strict and lean guy. Tougher than the meat we over-cooked. Then, he shoot us another bullet.

Where's your fiche technique?

We were there discussing what to do and then we decided to go and find other chefs to get the recipe. finally Chef Chong gave us the recipe. When we got back into the pastry kitchen, Philbert exclaimed:

RIgghhhttt.. what are we suppose to do now? Just as all of us were panicking, our hero with clogs like you see what goblins wear stormed into the classroom, it's our beloved Chef Karam! He didn't sink afterall!

Sorry i'm late, i had to bring my wife to the hospital.

Are you kidding me? We're more than thankful you're back here. We then started off with the Genoise Sponge. Then a lady came in and started doing something at the back, she's baking some cookie. After that we started to help Chef Karam with his charity cookies. Thursday is fun. Thursday is alive!

Mont Kiara BBQ Party

It's been a long time before I have my last BBQ party, LONG LONG time. So when we decided to have a BBQ party at Nana's luxurious condo in Mont Kiara(Note: Nana's parents is not home! *evil laughs*) , I'm nothing but excited! It's took almost 20days of planning for everything, who to come and what to prepare. At the end of the day, everything turned out to be very good and everyone had loads of fun!

BUT.. before at all, lets start everything before we go to bed in Nana's house...

Sing Your Heart Out
We went kareoke at Red Box Sunway Piramid, actually we decided to use our RM10 voucher so we don't have to pay, seeing that we are some quite 'regular' customer (we go there every now and then when there's no class). The lady that work there tell us we can't use that for happy hour or lunch time.. so since we're there, we went in still. After they choose their favourite songs, they started singing, i'm having a bad throat, but i still sing a lil here and there. Our kareoke routine always start of with Girlfriend from Avril Lavigne. When all the jiwang songs started to play, i was thinking who is so jiwang.. guess who?! Bryan!

After that we went back to do our housekeeping assessment. Ahh!! i'm so pissed i got only 18 out of 20, most of them got full marks. After i changed to my short pants, June and I headed to KL Central to wait for Shannon's call. He is driving us to Tesco to buy all the stuff for the night's BBQ. June and I got a lil hungry and we went to McD's. We talked for like almost an hour before Shannon asked us where we are, we're still here in McD's my dear. He is there already at the Kelana Jaya station. June and I hop on the lrt and off we go! The journey was quite long since it's at the very end of the track.. We were looking for Shae's car after we got off the train, and both of us waved to him at the bridge like some mad women when we saw him. When we got into his car, the first thing he told us sounds something like this "I got my license and i'm driving you guys." Smile broadly, and when we dissed him he threat us he would drop us on the road side. OK. After that he told us "Eh i scared not enough petrol la!" I looked at the meter for the fuel tank, yea.. he is right, i think there wouldn't be enough petrol since the meter shows F. Then June Kept saying that "Enough la!!" BUT.. but.. the meter is so close to F, how can it be enough? I was still pretty worried about it and kept asking them.. both of them kept saying enough.. so i thought, ok-lo. Actually, by the end of the day only i realized F is for Full and E is for Empty. I thought it's Finish and Enough instead, opppSS!! Malu sial.

Shopping Time

A million thanks to Shannon, we finally got ourself out from the slanted-parked car. I decided to get into the trolley since i was quite sleepy and tired because i'm sick, i crawled into the trolley and Shannon started pushing me around. People are staring at me like i'm some kind of freak, June and Shannon wanted to leave me on the trolley too so i got out. We bought A LOT of stuff, it's like we're buying stuff for Chinese New Year. Off we go to Nana's place!

Cut, Slice, Cook!
We reached Damai Kiara and 3 of us were busy looking for the pit, we couldn't find it and called Nana a lot of times. Nana's maid got out and helped us to carry the food that need to be cooked upstairs. She's very thoughtful, she brought us a trolley!! When we were there in Nana's house we were busy doing everything, i'm in charge of the potatoes; June is in charge of her bread and eating and feeding us durian snacks; shannon busy marinating the chickens; Reagan, Jay, XiWern, Sean is like commis helping here and there. Thoughtful. We have a lot of them helping downstairs at the pit to start the fire, that includes LG, Wayne, Faiz and Naomi.

We took out stuff and got down the pit, Nana is carrying her laptop and 2 speakers while we're carrying The Edibles. The guys are already busy down there fanning and burning stuff. Although i do not have a slightest idea what are the rest doing. Cuz i'm busy eating.. hehehe!! The food is awesome, and my mash potatoes got some comments too! happy i am! Nana bought her friend named Renato from Ecuador (i think i spelled it wrongly but this is how u read it ee-kua-door), he speaks Spanish!! Everyone was having fun filling up there stomach and listening to Nana's song. I kinda pity the people at the bbq pit because it's SO hot in there! i wanted to help but i'm wearing contact lens so it is not encouraged to stand near it. First i think i can help them but only then i realized that this bbq pit is really huge and really hot. Wayne, Faiz and Naomi is sweating feverishly.

June and I headed to the pool while everyone is up there and we dipped our legs in the pool. Ahh.. felt like heaven, i wanna jump in. June tapped the water before she dip her legs in, the typical superticious June, if she don't do that it'll be weird. After for about 30minutes Sean joined us, then XiWern, then LG. Then we started talking about the leg's hair. I gave Jay my camera before we went down to the pool, and he snapped us from up there without our knowledge.
